I am sorry, but how did this man end up with a Muslim doctor in the first place? Didnt he have a right to choose his doctor?

He was an emergency patient. He never saw the doctor who was
assigned to treat him.

Not in the ER... You take what you get. I was admitted to the ER with blood pressure of 209/129, and it was a couple of hours before I ever saw a Dr. I guess since I wasn't having chest pain, they just got to me when the critical cases had been served.

I know of no hospital that lets you pick your doctor when you get admitted unless your doctor is on staff

I thought the same ting at first, until I saw that he was in an emergency room. A person does not have a lot of choice there.

When you walk into the ER, you get the doctor that picks up your chart. If you argue about it, you will just piss off the people taking care of you. If you make a point that it is based on the race or creed of the physician, you will be told that you need to be quiet. If you make a big scene, you could find yourself sedated and restrained.

On the otherhand, you can sign out AMA, and try your luck at the next ER.

Many Middle-East descent physicians are actually Christians, they couldn’t live in peace in their own country and came the the U.S. to practice.
