Oh yeah! Also 12, 15, and 16!
No balls
Wanting to please the leftists (why don’t they ever learn this gets them nowhwere)
Illegal immigration
Illegal immigration goes across party lines so much that I think BOTH parties will be in serious trouble come next year.
A fact I think Bloomingidiot out of New York is counting on.
I'm personally (SierraWasp) afraid things must get much worse, before they can get better. If we're given no quarter and no choice, them we must go the new party route and endure a couple of losses until we can put our OWN PARTY in power!!!
Without it, we'll just remain on hind teat forever!!!(just like the entire Repellican Party is here in CA with Schwartzenrenegger who lies down and wallows with Demonicrats)
I would have to say #15 and #16. I even used some of those terms when I wrote to my lovely Senator John Warner (rino, VA).
Numbers 2,3,4,5,6,10,11,12,15,16.....aw heck...#19 just about says is all. :)
BTW Jim, what can we do about the travesty known as this new Immigration Bill. I have two Dim Senator’s and I’m frustrated and steamed!
And your solution is what?
Oh, for the heady days after the ‘94 election...we conservatives have supported the GOP, but the GOP has become less and less conservative. This will, indeed, lead to a disaster for the GOP but maybe not for conservatives in the long run assuming we can invest our political clout wisely.
Another reason: Failure to downsize the UN when it had a chance, and actually promoting passage of the Law of the Sea.
So Jim, why don’t you make that your next poll? I’d say most of the above.
It is being run like a pair of one legged rtard contestants at a sack race!

I guess 18 does it for me.
I would have said 19, but #1 is only half right. I am not against the war, I just wish they would let the Military fight it to win like we did in WWII.
One thing is for sure, if the GOP wants my vote, they gotta earn it.
All radiates from #15. If a candidate comes forward with #16 regrowth, we can win ‘08 and beyond.
This isn’t about the demise of the Republican Party...this is about the end of life as we have known it in America.
Look closely at France...thats where we are headed.
IN RE 16. Loss of testicles
Good news: I found them! Will be sending to D.C. in a brown paper bag.
(Hillary had them.)
So we can check that off our list.
A look at history will show that the American people tend reach a point of fatigue with any party that is in power for more than a few years. Republicans hold a slight advantage in Presidential elections, as Republicans are seen as more serious about foreign policy. Democrats hold an advantage in Congressional elections, as Democrats are seen as more attentive to domestic policy (handing out goodies).
Elections are won and lost in the mushy middle, and moderate Democrats, Independents and Republicans seem to think it somehow “fair” to switch power to a different party from time to time.
Political parties suffer a lapse in energy after sitting in power for a while, and proceed to worry about reelection as opposed to proper governance.
At this point in time, Republican conservative principles are still in tune with enough Americans to win elections, but Republicans are having a terrible time explaining their goals, and are losing the propaganda war against both Al Qaeda and the Democrats.
Much of the media are now an arm of Liberalism, which makes the situation tougher. That is changing, but conservatives are still taking hits on that front.
Neither party has a charismatic leader that embodies their relative positions and principles currently.
Given all the above, the Democrats are in the driver’s seat for 2008, it is theirs to lose.
I’d like to see and hear a bit more about hope. Where are the Ronald Reagan supporters when we need them? Reagan would have chastised such sentiment when we have 18 months to go before the next election.
When people give up on the concept of America and it’s freedoms, we have malaise. Let’s leave that ideology to the left-wing bloggers over at DU and the MSM leftist fellow-travelers. We conservatives ought to be preaching a positive message which emphasizes growth and the spirit of America which is a can-do concept. The last time I looked Jimmy Carter was still a Democrat. We do not need to emulate him with our own brand of pessimism.
Is anyone else here on the forum getting tired of doom and gloom?
Rush said today, again, that once our local elected politicians get to Washington, they're soon corrupted by the prevailing DC culture.
On the other hand, I wonder if we, at the local level, are adequately vetting our candidates.
He is the #1 reason.
We need to figure out how to avoid getting stuck with another idiot.
We need more Reagans.
