I am confused by all of you who say this would be the end of the Republican Party. Regardless of whether President Bush signs or not, the great majority of Republican Senators and Congressmen should vote against it, while the Dems will all vote for it. It will clearly be seen as a Democrat Bill. Seems like a big win for Republicans IF the great majority of them vote against it like I suspect.
