Contrary to the Republican faithful, there is a growing support for an actual Classical Liberal conservative

Uh huh. Support for some 'classical liberal conservative' is like eating fatty, greasy cheeseburgers for their health benefits.

Might make you feel good, but it isn't helping your long term health one iota.

Bon appetit. Enjoy the inevitable bypass.

And therein lies the major problem with the Republican party. Its supporters no longer want a politician who would act to limit government and slash it to the bone, they just want someone who says they will and continue policies of bombing any nation we consider 'bad'. That's a policy to run a government on is it?

Bon appetit. Enjoy the inevitable bypass.

Same to you. Because contrary to the few faithful left, this election will be determined by the police action in Iraq. And contrary to the faithful, catchphrases such as 'gates of hell' and '9/11' aren't going to win the election. Most likely a politician who is for ending this farce will win. I hope that it would be a Republican (Paul) but if the 'right' continue their assault on the only limited government conservative in the field, it'll most likely be a Democrat.

Although I do believe to make name remembrance easier Rudy should just change his name to 9/11. It's apparently the only thing he knows how to say even if he doesn't know what it means...
