Ron Paul’s too wacky even for the capital-L Libertarians.

He’s basically an isolationist (esp. when it comes to favoring Arabs over Israel) with nonsense populism.

Essentially, a not-as-smart Pat Buchanon cloaked as a libertarian.

Ouch, that's harsh.. but very true...

Paul voted in favor of military action in Afghanistan.

Get Real. I have voted Dem. in past elections here in TN but even I am willing to face up to Paul’s arguments. He is nowhere near the isolationist camp (pay attention to Debate and post debate coverage please) unless you count an unwillingness to invade other countries at the drop of a hat, and an unwillingness to act as the world’s babysitter as isolationist.
He is the strongest advocate of positive relations with foreign countries (esp. in the area of trade) of all of the 18 (or so) candidates that have announced their candidacy.

If you can’t argue against a candidate’s position, please spare us the half hearted attempts to twist their positions.
The Internet provides a great resource for discovering (through text and video/audio media) what candidates are actually saying. A little research on the part of all commentators (here and elsewhere) would help a great deal in assisting American voters in their quest to elect the best president.

Sincerely,

LDL
