Not voting is the same as voting Democratic. Do you want to allow Hillary to be in charge of the War on Terror?

McCain is toast. His “campaign finance reform” and amnesty bill programs do nothing but help liberal dems.

I vote. Doesn’t really “seem” to make a difference, but I figure if you don’t at least go through the motions, you can’t complain. I’m not a member of any party that exists now. None of them listen any more anyway. Time for us to revive the Whig party or something.

Government of the People, by the People, for the People. Does that ring a bell any of you stupid politicians?

also

“When the government fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the givernment, there is tyranny.” Thomas Jefferson

I for one fear what our govt has become. It’s not listening to the people any more, and does it’s best to crush, demean, and humiliate us at every turn. It has become so “open minded” that it’s brains have fallen out. I am an American Vet (Gulf war I), partially disabled (Gulf War syndrome, or fibromyalgia depending on which Dr you talk to.) I have served my country, and think it’s way past time for our government to start serving us, not selling us out to the highest bidder.

Pull our troops out of every country besides our real allies, stop giving all our $ away to corrupt foreign (even more corrupt than us even) governments, seal our borders except for LEGAL immigrations, and take care of ourselves. I’m not saying ignore the rest of the world, but we have to take care of ourselves FIRST.

The way we’re headed, our next president will be Hillary Clinton! I’m not saying a woman president would be bad, but I don’t like what she stands for.

Communisim = failed
Fascicism = failed
Nazism = failed
Democracy? beep beep beeeeeee.....

“Not voting is the same as voting Democratic.”

Do you REALLY think any of the lightweights running as Republicans would be any better? Like I said, voting for someone you KNOW is screwing you is just sheeplike. I am tired of your worn out tired old argument. It is the one that has been used for decades. And I have finally had enough.

Done deal.

By early Thursday afternoon, McCain joined nine other senators and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez at a Capitol press conference announcing the deal. After making a few comments, McCain left the Capitol to head to New York for presidential campaign events. Later that day, McCain missed his 43rd straight vote, this on the $2.9 trillion budget outline.

What this means is that each illegal will be granted “legal status”. They will be allowed to bring in their family members. The 20 million illegals here now will implode to 80 million with Bush’s signature. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Millions more will come across obtaining phony documentation “proving” they were here long enough to get legal status. Does anyone realize that there are probably 1 billion third worlders that want to live in the US? The face of this nation will change forever for the worse. Remember to tell your children and grandchildren that that you voted for the sell out president of the century, GW Bush!

Funny you mentioned that, “electronic voting, your vote may not matter”. When Buchanan ran for president the first time he won the first two primaries, hand ballot counting. He lost after that to electronic balloting.

The problem with continuing to vote for “conservative” republicans is that some of them are flipping. They now belong to a party as a whole does not give a sh*t about you. Vote THIRD PARTY, CONSTITUTION PARTY.

I want to hear all the apologies from those Bush lickers that condemned me for criticizing our “beloved” president over this issue the past few years.

“Even though I’ve had a full year to mentally adapt to the insane reality that there are plenty of Republicans ready to join Ted Kennedy and make a headlong dive into turning this country into a balkanized, socialist cesspool, I’m still dumbfounded by it. It’s the straight-forward, law-and-order aspect that always led me to be a Republican, and now I see so many of them acting just like Democrats, shiftily playing with words and ultimately both excusing and rewarding criminality, all for the sake of this grotesque amnesty outrage.

I’m so beyond being simply disenchanted. If this passes, everything pretty much becomes moot. Will I really even care anymore if the country falls into recession, has riots in the streets, or is attacked by terrorists? Will I even care to vote anymore? It all just seems so pointless, once these traitorous politicians have sold the country down the river. Words cannot remotely express my disgust. I’ve really reached a point I’ve never been at, in terms of both politics and how I view what’s left of my country.”

I too am very depressed about this tragic charade. If this bill does pass I will be looking at eventually moving to a town that has some semblance to what American used to look like.

“We must DEFEAT ANY Senator who goes along with this disgraceful nightmare.
Republican, Democrat, whatever..... they must be DESTROYED, politically; careers ended.”

This is the only way to send the message loud and clear. VOTE THIRD PARTY!!!!!!!!!!

So far, I am okay with the conservatives. After the primary however, I will reassess whether I remain a Republican. Right now I am leaning to leave the GOP.
