She/they won fair and square. We need to not be asleep at the switch next election.

She won because a huge percentage of posters on this forum said conservatives should sit out the election to "teach the GOP a lesson".

Great move, folks. I hope you're satisfied.

There's a sucker born every minute, and those who followed that advice are proof of that.

For the thousandth time, the GOP base did turn out last year. We lost independents 3:2, and with it the House and Senate.

No, you’re wrong. That didn’t happen. Find another excuse because that dog won’t hunt.

Why don't you take this BS and shove it. There are other forums committed to people like you. Take advantage of them.

Why is Tokra blaming conservatives for the choice the Republican party chose to make? The republicans decided not to field candidates the conservatives would vote for. They Chose this, and all the blame is theirs. If you make a choice and then whine about the consequences you don't earn any sympathy.

That is nonsense. There is no evidence in the 2006 election results or exit polls to support your position. You are probably a KOS troll here to disrupt the Republican party.

When you go race by race, you will find that is not the case. The seats we lost in places like CT, NY, and PA were held by RINOs. Scandals also played a part. The Dem base turned out in greater numbers than the previous midterm. It was not a matter of the Rep turnout.
