I guess we’re going to wait until one lands on us. Then the Rats will be whining about how President Bush didn’t engage in meaningful diplomacy with these dirtbags.

"Its range is estimated at around 4,000 kilometers."

Let's see...distance from Tehran to Rome: 2121 miles. That's about 3413 Kilometers.

...to London: 2738 miles. That's about 4406 Kilometers.

Iran's getting very close to its first major evil goal.

And yes, much of the Iranian noise about Israel is a ruse.

BTW, in the Russian configuration, that missile had much more range. The North Koreans adapted them to carry heavier payloads.

I am skeptical, why should NK test a new missile in Iran? If they did that it would cause a lot of problem. If the missile is an Iranian construction it would be more appropriate for the Iranians to test it in NK.

Well if the Iranians have the same (har har) ‘success’ with those missiles that North Korea did when they staged their liddle multiple-launch attempts last year, I would expect to see one of those duds explode right over Tehran.

Which would be the ultimate irony, especially if a prototype nuke was installed in the nosecone.

(psssst, say Lord? “from my keyboard to Your Ears”, ok? ;)

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if this is confirmed.
