Is this posted in jest?
Ron Paul is winning the Fox poll (so far) with 30%.
It is all our fault. It is our all fault.
In the years leading up to 9/11, Pat Buchanan frequently warned of terrorism coming to U.S. soil if we didn’t get out of the Middle East. But acknowledging that as a motivating factor of terrorism is not the same as saying we deserved it, which is what you hear from the left. Ron Paul could have at least made that distinction, but instead it sounded like he thought we deserved what we got.
Horsesh!t.
I can’t stand Rudy but I’m glad he b!tch slapped that ass.
I don’t have time to read your tome of a post. What I will say is Ron Paul was made to look like a left wing nut job and Rudy cut Ron Paul up like a paper doll.
Thank God someone has the guts to say what should be obvious, that we are not being attacked because of our “freedom and women’s rights.” That is absurd. Do amy of you all actually believe we are being attacked because they hate our freedom? Why aren’t they attacking Monaco and Costa Rica and Switzerland, too?
Ron Paul gets my support. That’s for sure. I could never support someone who believes we are hated because we are free. It’s an obvious lie, and a huge one at that — which I guess is what makes it such as easy sell for the 50% plus one of the electorate. Morons.
Great post!!!!!!
9/11, 9/11, 9/11.
There, I won the argument and you lost.
Seriously, though, Bush has created an accepted reality and he’s made it so that dissenting from that reality means you support Al Qaeda. You can’t disagree with any Bush national security policy or any statement they make about terrorism. Bush says that our intervention does the opposite of what Ron Paul says, that it makes us safer, and that only terrorists think that the US needs to stop intervening in other countries and their affairs. It’s just how things are.
I give him credit, though, for not apologizing like Rudy asked. That took balls.
Exactly.
Below I have posted Bin Laden's declaration of War against the United States, made in 1996. He cites (1) US Involvement in the Middle East, (2) Palestine, and (3) Sanctions on Iraq as reasons why he has declared war.
Wait a minute where's reason 4, they hated us for our ATMs?
“It would be absurd to say that Peal Harbor was because the Japanese “hated” our freedom, no?”
True for Japan, but cultural changes associated with “America” are a big cause of Islamist anger.
“”The Japanese attacked us because of Sanctions and our policies in SE Asia.””
Ah, that’s old garbage.
They attacked us because they would assumed we would have intervened against their attacks to conquer SE Asia and Indonesia, then under French, Brit and Dutch control.
A grave miscaluculation on their part. The American public would not support a war to prop up old European empires.
Before 2004 election from Bin Laden....
That Osama Bin Laden Speach in Full
[ This seems to have been quoted only in tiny fragments, if at all, in the main news media, so here is the English Translation of the full text of Osama Bin Laden’s statement released on the 29th October 2004. It is certainly an interesting insight into how he tries to justify his actions. ]
Praise be to Allah who created the creation for his worship and commanded them to be just and permitted the wronged one to retaliate against the oppressor in kind. To proceed:
Peace be upon he who follows the guidance: People of America this talk of mine is for you and concerns the ideal way to prevent another Manhattan, and deals with the war and its causes and results.
Before I begin, I say to you that security is an indispensable pillar of human life and that free men do not forfeit their security, contrary to Bush’s claim that we hate freedom.
If so, then let him explain to us why we don’t strike for example - Sweden? And we know that freedom-haters don’t possess defiant spirits like those of the 19 - may Allah have mercy on them.
No, we fight because we are free men who don’t sleep under oppression. We want to restore freedom to our nation, just as you lay waste to our nation. So shall we lay waste to yours.

At a time when some of our compatriots were dazzled by America and hoping that these visits would have an effect on our countries, all of a sudden he was affected by those monarchies and military regimes, and became envious of their remaining decades in their positions, to embezzle the public wealth of the nation without supervision or accounting.
So he took dictatorship and suppression of freedoms to his son and they named it the Patriot Act, under the pretence of fighting terrorism. In addition, Bush sanctioned the installing of sons as state governors, and didn’t forget to import expertise in election fraud from the region’s presidents to Florida to be made use of in moments of difficulty.
All that we have mentioned has made it easy for us to provoke and bait this administration. All that we have to do is to send two mujahidin to the furthest point east to raise a piece of cloth on which is written al-Qaida, in order to make the generals race there to cause America to suffer human, economic, and political losses without their achieving for it anything of note other than some benefits for their private companies.

And the world blamed ISRAEL.
So they continued into murder, kidnap and behead, and now the world, and friends, ie the Paul/DNC/UN/MSM ticket, blame America.
Who to blame next when America bugs out?
good post.
GO RON!
One can be factually/legally/technically correct and still be a kooky loser.

Technically, they have the right-of-way.
Unfortunately, they still get run over.
Tonight, Ron Paul stated that al-Qaida attacked us because we are involved in the Middle East. Below I have posted Bin Laden's declaration of War against the United States, made in 1996. He cites (1) US Involvement in the Middle East, (2) Palestine, and (3) Sanctions on Iraq as reasons why he has declared war.
Well, that sound about right to me. I'm not sure why some people are jumping on that statement. Is there a problem with it?

They looked for a reason to justify their HATE and they CHOOSE that one. Our mere existence ALONE is enough reason for them to want us dead. The R.O.P. is a jealous and power hungry group of tribalists. Ron Paul is naive beyond reason if he TRULY believes what he said, an therefore NOT fit to be President Of The United States Of America. PERIOD.
I’d like to thank Ron Paul for linking Al Queda and Iraq.
