Yeah, and I’m one of the 70 million gun owners (and no I don’t hunt), as are my brothers and father who are hunters. Yet I am not the least bit considered that Romney’s against assault weapons. Again, I just don’t think that he’s wanting to take your guns away from you. When he starts proposing laws to take away all the other hundreds of various types of guns, then I’ll start to worry, but it ain’t going to happen.

It's quite interesting to see Romney supporters going down the exact same rhetorical road that the Rooty-tooters here did not that long ago.

The new assault weapons ban that is now being pushed through Congress would ban most every common firearm except a few single shots and bolt action rifles.

I doubt Romney would know enough about it to veto it if it came to his desk.
