“Mike Huckabee continues to impress me as do Duncan Hunter and Mitt Romney. I could live with any of the three. I may be the ONLY one here to think so but I think Rudy REALLY got hurt tonight on the abortion issue and will never get the Republican nomination as a result.”
Rudy really did hurt himself with the abortion issue tonight. Although, I think that Romney’s assault weapons ban statement probably hurt him. I truly don’t think that he’s wanting to take anyone’s guns away from them, but while the issue is mostly an afterthought for most voters, it seems to be “the issue” for some of the people in the core conservative base.
A question they should ask Ron Paul. “Dr. Paul, you ran for President in 1988 on the Libertarian ticket, why are you now running as a Republican?” “What are your reasons for leaving the Libertarian party?”

Yea, Its a big isuue for gun owners but what the hell, there is only 70 million of them, all of voting age.
