Actually, you have him right down. Except he had a great home life in Slovakia (I love his mom and dad) but does cut slack to anyone that has problems. This family has a dad that needs mental help and a mom that is at the end of her rope. Ignoring this kid is not going to help their situation.
However not all Christians are saps. They forget that Jesus put a limit on abuse (turn the other cheek 70 X 7 is not always) and that Jesus never said set yourself up to get smacked. That’s the kind of Christian I am.
Of course not, I meant that problem kids believe Christians are saps or hypocrits when we ignore their behavior and try to "love" them into compliance, especially when it's at the expense of the good kids having to put up with their bullying and terrorism.
They see this crap at school all week long and it burns a lot of children out on church to have to put up with it there too.
