So who’s blowing smoke in this one? Brownback’s office? Sebelius? Quinn & Rose. If Brownback’s office could confirm the conversation then it supports the belief that Quinn & Rose were on the mark. But if Brownback’s office is now tap dancing around the issue then does it mean that they were they wrong when they said Sebelius called or are they now just trying to cover her ass? It’s getting muddier and muddier, and that just works in the Dems favor.
I think Brownback’s office is tap-dancing. If he would have talked to Hannity, that would have been different-—if the conversation didn’t happen, why not say so? I think he’s trying to protect Sebelius cause of “new tone” crap. It’s getting old.
