Information from Columbia on studies for first year students in the physiology graduate program.
http://cpmcnet.columbia.edu/dept/physio/graduate_program.html
>>Students are required to take courses in Principles of Physiology, Advanced Biochemistry and Neural Science during their first year. Some elective courses, such as molecularbiology or cell biology, may also be taken in the first year. Students who do not intend to specialize in the area of neurobiology may take an elective instead of the complete Neural Science course if they can demonstrate competence in neurophysiology. This is usually achieved by taking the neurophysiology section of the Neural Science course.<<
Yeah, just like an advanced GED. Just a little something we could pick up over the weekend.
Book smarts but no tact in conversation!
I did not compare Columbia’s physiology graduate program to a GED. Do all Dr. Laura fans have reading comprehension issues?
