How can you be isolationist and power-projecting at the same time?
(...And incidentally, coming from one of the two declared anti-war candidates in the GOP field, Hagel using “isolationist” as an epithet is pure comedy.)

When Hagel uses the term isolationist, its generally a referance to protectionist or those that oppose free trade.
