He is - cares only about himself and his own ego. An isolationist power-projector if there ever was one...in his own mind.

"The Republican Party has been "hijacked" and led away from its core values, Chuck Hagel, the Republican Senator from Nebraska, said Sunday on Face The Nation."

What are Hagle's core values? I have no idea, I wonder if he even knows what his core values are.

Hagel and Bloomberg? Wow, that ties it up for me.

I wasn’t sure before, but they have my vote.

Or not.
Not.
definitely not.

Someone put Hagel in a padded cell before he hurts himself or someone else.

Does he have any guns? He is as insane as Cho, but with only half the likability and social graces.

Hagel wants Bloomberg as his running mate? This is a joke, right? Or is he seeking Bloomberg for the same reason that pretty girls with nothing else going for them, seek out the ugliest, richest man?

Nope, that doesn't quite work, because it's not Edwards who wants Bloomberg.... In any event, if you put two dead horses in harness together, you still don't get the south forty plowed.

Hagel is going NOWHERE. You are correct, it is funny and he don’t even know it.

“It’s been hijacked by a group of single-minded almost isolationists, insulationists, power-projectors”

Ha, that is humorous.

The Republican party is filled with tall short people who are withdrawn extroverts. They are united only in their devisive feelings about Chuck Hagel who they find to be imbecilic, yet oddly, imbecilic.

I designed John Anderson’s legal work in 1980, that got him on all the ballots. Under the laws today, even with Bloomberg’s money, it is too d*mned late for any relevant third party effort for next year.

When Hagel uses the term isolationist, its generally a referance to protectionist or those that oppose free trade.

If you are correct then he uses language quite idiosyncratically People will not understand him and it will be a serious hindrance to his candicacy. This makes Bush seem like the great communicator.

Name one good reason for anybody to vote for Hagel/Bloomberg over Giuliani or McCain.

Well,

Let's start with Democrats. There are plenty of Dem's who loathe Hillary and would jump at the opportunity to vote for what they consider a liberal alternative.

As for the Republicans, well Rudy or McCain would probaly cause mass defections among Republicans for a host of reasons. You said it yourself, you have "no desire to vote for Giuliani or McCain".. Well, what if that is that choice you have to make? Would you vote for either one of them or sit it out?

And what about the growing number of independents who have had it with both parties? Where do you think they will go?

Hagel alone doesn't present a credible third party threat, but combined with Bloomie and his money they could do some damage. Bloomberg is very media savvy and is worth in excess of 10 billion dollars and could easily finance a campaign that would match anything the Democrats and Republicans throw at them in terms of a media campaign war.

At this point, I would not suggest that Hagel/Bloomberg would win outright, but they could easily end up determining who does. I think they would caputure 15% to 20% of the vote easily if we have Hillary vs. Rudy

Hagel and Bloomberg would make a great team. Especially if they were wrapped in chains and dropped in the middle of the ocean.

If both their mothers are still alive, they will get a maximum of 4 votes.

What an absurd proposition to think of these 2 running, whether separately or together. To whom do they think they appeal?
