While I don’t like to see taxpayers getting hit for public school negligence, I think lawsuits are absolutely the correct way to go. Without them, incidents like these are swept under the rug and continue to grow into institutionalized abuse. Big lawsuits, big money, big headlines, big taxpayer pushback — at least I’d hope.

I agree, especially in this type of case. Sue the pants off the district. If it hurts enough, the district will opt out of showing these pro-homo films and teach arithmetic for three hours, rather than take the risk.

I'd like to see NAMBLA sue to require the showing of the movie so the district can choose which suit to defend against.
