"I can assure you that we will start pressuring Bush in a new way at the same time he is facing pressures from the Democrats and the American people. And there will be no problem to sacrifice 10 soldiers in order to abduct a single American soldier and get him on television screens begging for us to release him."
*** Nothing like confirming the Dems have given them the incentive to attack our men! ***

Why hasnt the President or another very senior leader gone on tv to warn that the murder of these soldiers will result in the execution of a like number of caputred terrorists?Do you really think that would make a difference? We value life. They don't. They kill innocents without batting an eye. If we kill 100 prisoners in response, they don't care, and we lose what support we have.

Someone recently posted that in the old Roman empire, a Roman citizen could walk freely with little fear of being kidnapped or robbed.
This was because people knew that after such a kidnapping, Roman centurions would come and burn all the villages to the ground with no mercy.

That’s right and they would crucify half the village for good measure.

Why hasnt the President or another very senior leader gone on tv to warn that the murder of these soldiers will result in the execution of a like number of caputred terrorists? Where is the leadership that can stop these kidnappings? The silence is stunning. Because they're all wimps! Not one of them has the courage to stand up to the RATS, so in the meantime, the 3 who were kidnapped will no doubt be tortured before they die a horrible death! Curse the RATS, the media, and the RINOS who stood with them. They're all to blame.

Our troops are fighting the most malevolent forces ever put on the fields of combat, yet Pelosi, Reid, Murtha and their ilk do more to help the enemy than our troops.
Damn these politicians’ souls to hell. They deserve nothing better.

When 10 of our people die, there is great sadness and renewed demands for immediate withdrawal. Apologize, appease, retreat. "Not one more life", the libs demand.
When 10 of their people die, it is no big deal. 100 more come, and there are demands to attack, slaughter, kidnap, blow up innocents, drive the invaders out at any cost. "All of our lives", al qaeda demands.

Mohamad al-Janabi, a reputed al-Qaeda member in the nearby city of Salman Pak, said in a telephone interview that he was unable to contact his comrades in Mahmudiyah to determine whether they were responsible for the attack. That guy sounds like a great candidate for a water board, by the Iraqi Army of course, since we are not allowed to do such things.
Or perhaps an old style field telephone generator, judiciously applied.

Maybe it is the FBI files that Hillary has on these guys.
They make a move and she quotes a date and time of their misdeed and they become silent. Just a thought.
But, who knows the real reason why they are so silent when a senator can stand up and tell the USA - you are a bunch of losers and not be lynched in the capitol within an hours time. We are not going to let these losers get away with another episode like what happened in Viet Nam. That was another case of the US military winning but losers taking control of the fight.

Why hasnt the President or another very senior leader gone on tv to warn that the murder of these soldiers will result in the execution of a like number of caputred terrorists Two words: War Crime. I'm not being faceteous, as even the threat of executing prisoners if a demand is not met is a war crime.

80+ American POWs were murdered by Germans in the Battle of the Bulge, 80+ Germans were executed in reprisal. There were no more murders of American prisoners.
I dont give a damn about any Geneva Conventions when our guys are being captured and face certain death.

The mayor of Mahmudiyah, Muaiad Fadhil Hussein, said the attack happened near the village of Beshesha, west of the city. He described it as "one of the most dangerous areas of the city, in which Arab and Iraqi terrorists exist, and not even innocent civilians can enter it."Can someone, anyone, please explain to me why Beshesha is not a smolder pile of ashes right at this moment?
