Actually, I am surprised that fifth graders are doing so well considering how coursework has become steadlily less rigorous over the years, and is steadily being replaced with liberal dogma (i.e., instead of learning astronomy, they now watch Al Gores movie)Erm, it's not the fifth graders that are doing badly but the adults on the show. They weren't exposed to Al Gore's movie in 5th grade.

Well today’s fifth graders are watching Al Gore’s movie (and learning how to put condoms on cucumbers, but don’t get me started on that). So no matter how much the grownups have forgotten, they still should be doing better than they are.
