I don’t like Mormonism, but I like Mitt. He is not running for a religious position, but for president of a secular government. Kooky or not, mormons DO tend to be moral people. I hate the door knockers, but Mitt won’t be doing that as President.

You obviously have never read about one of the key problems that go on with the Mormon Church - the secret circle of edlers that DO constrict, force and restrain others once you achieve a postion of authority.

The kooky parts of Mormon teaching are less worrisome than the stuff they teach to those in secret as they attain higher office within the church. There are many good books on this subject, written by ex Mormons themselves.

This is a Christian nation. The Mormon God is not the Christian God. A Christian nation should have a Christian leader, or, in all likelihood it will not remain a Christian nation. Never has it been more important to elect a truly Christian man into the Presidency as it is today.

Don't you question the wisdom of a man who misses the mark so widely on the most important issue in his life? How well will he judge less important issues like the WOT, SCOTUS, etc?

Well it looks like somebody has bought into the leftist lie.

"Secular" is just another way of saying "atheist", which is a religion itself. What you're basically saying is that it doesn't matter if the President is a Mormon, because all Presidents are supposed to act like atheists anyway. Maybe in North Korea, but not here my FRiend.

America was and is a Christian nation. We elect Christians to office, not people who think that Jesus and Satan were brothers.

Mormons are not Christians, any more than a Cow calling itself a Duck is really a duck. Shoot, if Mormons are Christians, so are the Heavens Gate people.

Mormons are more than welcome to stay in this country and practice their religion -- but get elected to the highest office in the land?

Not gonna happen.
