Rust never sleeps.
I never understood what that meant.
I looked it up on the internets.
The title “Rust Never Sleeps” from the 1979 album by Neil Young and Crazy Horse was borrowed from the slogan for Rustoleum paint, that Mark Mothersbaugh of the New Wave band Devo came up with as part of an advertising campaign for the product Rustoleum, a rust inhibitor. Neil Young actually confirmed that he got the phrase “Rust Never Sleeps” from Devo.
