I don’t know what Romney specifically did in the 70s to address the issue, but he has repeatedly discussed how thrilled he was when the priesthood was extended to Blacks in 1978. I know that his father, George Romney, marched for civil rights with Martin Luther King, Jr., and Mitt frequently mentions how much he considers his father to be a hero to him.

Mitt has no role on doctrine of the church.. again, just DU-type characterization level. I don’t see any posts here about Mormons that show any thought.
