Note carefully that the DNC does not deny that a call was made, nor that there was advice on how to politicize the tornado. They merely set up a very specific straw man and assert that the specified precise set of facts are not entirely and precisely true. This is a VERY good point. If even one LETTER or one WORD was not identical to the spoken conversation, Dean's lawyers could claim the "Gov Dean had no such conversation with Gov Sebelius, ever." Joe Stalin used to use this technique, too.

"no such conversation"
So true, with well-practiced Clintonista precision, the Demagogues long ago learned to prevaricate in just this way (when they are not lying even more explicitly). If ANY word or detail or nuance of the reported "conversation" differed in any way from what the Demagogues believe occurred (of course, their recollections could be wrong, that happens all the time when they are not outright lying), then they will scream "no such conversation" ever occurred....... not THAT exact conversation but a different conversation occurred, one that differs by one word or detail..... that is masterly Clintonista prevarication, for it all depends upon what the meaning of "is" is.......
