On the other hand, lets take a more Jon Carry approach; a more, nuanced view.
If, and I say again, IF Messers Dean and Sandler are as the so far unsubstaniated rumors that have been circulating, have been having sex with dead animals, and the animals were not killed for that disgusting and purient purpose, or they are legally purchased or are roadkill, well then, to take a Democrat, a more European outlook,...
Who is hurt?
The animals are already dead, n’cest pas?
And one man’s love is one man’s love.
Vive la Mort, Vive amour.

So, does this mean that the DNC is monitoring FreeRepublic.com?I like the fact that we're strong and smeart enough to scare them. I doubt anyone would ever bother trying to silence DU.

But aren’t we entitled to see all the e-mails between Dean and the Governor?

the original poster was clearly just making a factual statement of what he had heard on the radio. If the rats could sue for this, they could sue for anything.

You can actually copy and paste from a PDF, depending on the version of the reader (newer) you're using. Just use the "T" select tool.
The following was copied and pasted from this file: DMCA PDF FILE
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)1 was signed into law by President Clinton on October 28, 1998. The legislation implements two 1996 World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) treaties: the WIPO Copyright Treaty and the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty. The DMCA also addresses a number of other significant copyright-related issues.

What was your thread about that was pulled?Wasn't pulled...just died a quick death. It was another of my tongue-in-cheek responses that, as usual, had little comedic value. ;^)

“... that the conversation in question between Senator Brownback and Governor Sebelius did not take place.”
How very carefully stated! Would the Gov. have emailed? Or spoken on voicemail? Or maybe it was EXACTLY the “conversation in question” but meant the same thing? And don’t tell me she couldn’t be that stupid as to HAVE a conversation about any of this, with Brownback or Dean. She absolutely lied about not enough National Guards and/or equipment (it was all over in Iraq, right?) This woman is not only a liar but may well be stupid- after all, she’s a Nastycrat. Just one of the Nasties temporarily in power.

"Seems to me their case would be with Quinn. Except they don't have one. The libel threshhold for public figures such as Dean and Sebelius is extremely high. FR is accurately reporting what was said on the Quinn show. "
Glad to see that the DNC confirmed what Quinn said. So, is it now illegal to talk to someone about what Quinn said?

YOu know, they never say that Dean called Selebius. Their source said Selebius blamed her action on Dean, and SHE’S the one who said Dean called her.
So maybe the story is completely true. Maybe Selebius DID say that Dean called her. If so, we are completely in our rights to repeat that story. Maybe DNC should be suing her, or making her issue a retraction.

Thats probably because the DNC are a bunch of thieving, lying sumbitches.AND
Coming in contact with the dnc will get you a bad case of cooties.
