Okay, it's been a few hours since the Drudge Report linked to audio by "shock jocks" Opie and Anthony's "XM Outrage." The audio is described as...
Warning: Extremely Vulgar Language. Shock Jocks Opie and Anthony engage in discussion about forced sex with the Secretary of State. A studio guest begins describing the scenario as the hosts laugh and encourage him. Anthony talks about the horror for Rice as the guest is "holding her down" and assaulting her.Don Imus was canned at MSNBC because he and his on-air staff called the Rutgers Women's Basketball team members "nappy headed hos" among other things. The Reverends Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson lead boycotts, met with NBC execs, and eventually had Imus fired for racially insensitive remarks.
I respect the free speech, however vile, of fellow Americans and don't believe Imus should have been let go. I wouldn't want to see Opie and Anthony fired as saying outrageous things is what shock jocks are paid to do. You want something a little lighter, listen to a church channel.

“I respect the free speech, however vile,....” Would you respect their vile speech if the skit was about a child, a dead body, an animal, a disabled woman, an elderly woman, or your mother.
All of our freedoms found in the Bill of Rights are limited. Speech is no exception. At times censorship is in order.
Umm, they’ve already covered all of those. Add dead animals, disabled man and elderly man to the mix as well.
Obscenity laws are clear. Cross that line and you get nailed. Anything other than that is censorship.
Again, I’m not talking about the government or censorship here.
I’m just waiting for Al Sharpton to intervene, organize boycotts, go on cable television saying this kind of speech is intolerable.
But he won’t because the women insulted are Republican.
Silly me, I find jokes about rape in bad taste. I must not be hip, open-minded or smart enough to change the station. P.S. I don’t listen to crap like that. Never did and never will.
“At times censorship is in order.”
You supported McCain-Feingold didn’t you?
I hope Sharpton will respond appropriately.
“I hope Sharpton will respond appropriately.”
Wish in one hand and _____ in the other and see what you have more of.
wikipedia lists their affiliates (at bottom)

among them
WFNY NYC, WCKG Chicago, WYSP Phil., WJFK-FM Wash DC,
WTZN-FM Pitts., etc
“You supported McCain-Feingold didnt you?”
I did not. Did radio against it. The law is the law. What’s so hard to understand about that?
The point of the show they do is to push the limits and break the limits of taste. I choose not to listen anymore due to personal convictions. I was only letting you know that you’re assumption that they vote DemocRATically was wrong. After this, I wish they did though.
They shouldn’t be nailed for anything as this was aired on XMSR which is under no government regulations.
I don’t care what their party affiliation may be.
Again, the point is I’m waiting for Al Sharpton to ride in on the white horse and defend the honor of Republican women.
And XM pays these fools how much for their talentless drek?
Yeah I hear ya there.. I do doubt that Sharpton will step to the plate for this issue. I can’t say I’d be shocked if he did though, as it does mean more publicity for his silly antics.
The “Studio guest” was a homeless black guy ranting about all sorts of things. The homeless guy also knocks over old ladies for beer money.
