The “no inspection sticker” list includes, among others, Sen. Tom McGee and Reps. Pat Natale, Joe Wagner and the newly sworn in James O’Day. Also bagged for no inspection sticker: Rep. Tony Petrucelli of East Boston, who will soon be “moving up” to the Senate.

An inspection sticker for what?! What the heck needs inspecting?

An inspection sticker for the car — they check all safety things, like brakes, windshield wipers, etc., emissions and — I think now — the state of the body. Failure to pass gets you 10 days grace to repair the deficiencies — unless of course you’re a state rep!

When I was a kid, my buddy glued leaves over his expired inspection sticker. We drove a whole summer with Maple leaves all over his windshield!
