“I’ve always been personally pro-life,..”
Sounds like Jimmy Carter.

Ive always been personally pro-life,..
I'm willing to consider Romney. Especially to hear how the pro-life organizations rate him.
But who cares if someone is "personally pro-life". Or "hates abortion but supports it".
It's their policy positions that count. Anyone can spew crap about their "private views". Screw that. We don't care about their private views. It's what they've done and what they will do if elected that counts.
Romney hasn't passed the test yet with me. But Ghouliani has already failed it.

Ive always been personally pro-life, Romney says.
To illustrate how vacuous and irrelevant any such claim is, name one politician of either party who’s ever said they’re “personally pro-abortion.”
Hillary and Kennedy say they “personally” oppose abortion.
