Alright, question for you - why did they never accept Reagan’s amnesty?

Might be because you had to live here for 5 years before you could take it? Then again what do I know I was only born in 83, though unlike some I do read my history.

It was pretty easy to get around the residency requirements. Just a wink and a nod and you were in.

This is from the 9/11 Commission regarding the first WTC bombing.

262 The SAW applicants had to provide evidence that they had worked on perishable crops for at least “90 days” between May 1, 1985, and May 1, 1986; their residence did not have to be “continuous” or “unlawful.” Nearly 1 million illegal aliens had received legal permanent residence under SAW, twice the number of foreigners normally employed in agriculture.
