Well before 9-11 a nurse I know in Houston told me she was instructed not to look at muslim men in the eye when they visit the hospital.

Well before 9-11 a nurse I know in Houston told me she was instructed not to look at muslim men in the eye when they visit the hospital. I'd look with a direct, unblinking gaze. And while I was at it, I'd watch every move with all the attentiveness of a starving hawk contemplating a mouse.
But that's just me.
