I used to listen to the BBC on SW, but since they no longer target the US with SW (but I still can pick up the Caribbean and the UK)...actually, it's because 1.) they had a week long AIDS week a few years back that was just atrocious, and 2.) their music selections were worse than the US. (Yes, I'm aging...), and 3.) they're just too anti-American. And they really have to stretch to make their case on most issues.

On the plus side, they do read from books that interested me enough to go out and buy.

And they sometimes tell the truth about what's going on in various dictatorships. Especially, when said country boots their correspondent.

Thanks for the laugh

I had to go to work today when it was my day off and I got a ticket from a very mean little jerk of a cop for turning on red when I shouldn't’t have (daydreaming and dead traffic most of the time, total city fund raiser). Really crappy day. That post of yours uplifted me a little.
