What a sicko. Try it like this. What if a madman was holding his family hostage, claiming that he would kill all of his 4 children and possibly the mother if he didn’t kill 2 of them himself. This is like him being PROUD of killing 2 of the kids himself and handing the madman the corpses to forestall any harm to the rest of his family. That’s nothing to be proud of.

And why use a situation having hardly anything to do with partial-birth abortion to make an argument for it? Why do people like this say they want children, when it's so obvious they don't place value on the lives of children. Having kids for them is purely selfish.

In the first place, just because boys are more likly to have autism, is that a reason to destroy these little boys? Also, he reacts to the possibility of having a child with handicaps as though it is an unthinkable idea. Who made him God, anyway?
Basically the article is all about me, me, me, or more about us, us, us and not about the entire family. Parents who decide to have children ought to do so out of love and a willingness to give unconditionaly love, not just to obtain trophy babies.
By-the-way, this type of situation is only one of the many reasons why the Catholic Church is against in-vitro fertilization. It’s a heart-wrenching thing to not be able to conceive to be sure, but then situations like this arise quite often. None of it is natural. It’s all very sad.
I am convinced that this is a made-up story. Given the source (L.A. Times), the subject matter, and the conveniently "black and white" scenario that was painted... it's bound to be another Leftist Lie.

Greater than this is the findings that they will have 2 children who will grow up knowing there were 2 others that were aborted...they won't even have to be told. It has been found that psychologically, children know their birth order, and know instinctively there were other siblings that are not alive, whether miscarried, stillborn, or aborted.
Interesting that the Amnio is brought up...that is invasive and a risk to the baby and mother as well, which the medical field doesn't want to bring up, either...

I am wondering if we are to consider him noble for choosing his wife and 2 out of 4 kids, when they knew this going in!! I have a 21 yr old daughter who has ever social and pro-choice reason given as viable reasons for her to choose to abort....heart condition, blood condition, double womb, single parent, won't survive normal birth so has to have a c-section, now in financial issues because of bedrest to keep the one and only baby she will carry... She chose LIFE! Against all odds, she is choosing LIFE! Somehow, I find the author of the article lacking, when measured up against my 21 yr old!

My first thought: Who is going to clip this article and show it to one (or both) of his precious daughters when they are old enough to understand.
My second thought: I can just picture this scum saying, “Vivian, I loved you and Rosalind so much that I killed your two brothers while they were in the womb.” I then imagine the neurosis that Vivian develops when she realizes that she better stay on Daddy’s good side or he may kill her because he loves Rosalind so much.
