Fort Dix is used to train soldiers, particularly reservists. It also housed refugees from Kosovo in 1999.

Looks like our generosity has come back to bite us - I'm going to guess they picked Fort Dix because they were able to obtain extensive information on its internal layout.

More than likely. I was in the Naval Reserve at Ft Dix during that time (”Refugees in Dix”) and I could have sworn that there were times when you could see the wheels turning in some of these folks heads. And from Cherry Hill? It figures. At least they weren’t from Princeton! Way to go NJ!
