What is a humvee used for in a town that is flattened? It's too bad her constituency is as stupid as she is pretending to be and will think that humvees could have saved people who very sadly died in a tornado.

CBS news interspersed her words with a congressional hearing with some general talking about how the NG needs more equipment. Yikes, every branch of the service has people whose entire job is asking congress for more money. They made it look like it was related to this recent disaster.

Bringing in medics, hauling out the wounded (there's several ambulance versions) hauling a water buffalo (water tank trailer) or a field generator. HMMWV's are utility vehicles, good for lots of stuff. Sort and SUV without the "S". A very good off road vehicle.
