If the devine essence of Christ is spirit, why didn’t he just appear in the spirit after the resurection? When he taught about the resurection he did so in terms of the body reuniting w/ the spirit which is apparently exactly what happened. That’s why Christ appeared in the flesh to the apostles after the resurection.
You are correct, the bible is clear on many things, however, your interpretation may not always be. I am interested, how did Joseph Smith twist & contradict these plain points? Was it b/c it didn’t conform to Christian dogma? As I said earlier, Christ’s teachings didn’t conform to the Jewish dogma of the day either. Was he just twisting & contradicting? Can you see the parallels here?
James 1:5 is a powerful scripture. It’s plain but very real. Not really a lot to twist there. Hey, I’m not trying to bust your chops man. Just food for thought to a man who obviously has conviction in the Lord.
