I'm sticking with Ron Paul for now and might even flirt with Fred Thompson. However, I like a lot of what I've seen in Romney.
In reality I think it has to be Mitt, and that's ok. This is the party that nominated Bob Dole. None of the thoroughbred conservatives will get nominated.

McCrazy is the Bob Dole of this election. It's not "his turn". And I wish someone would tell Rudi he's not a Republican after all, just like his momma said.
As for Romney, I'm waiting to see if he can pass muster with the pro-life/pro-family/pro-gun organizations. That's their job, to vet these candidates, and they generally do very well at it. We already know their negative opinions of McStain and the leftwing mayor.
All in all, it's way too early to decide anyway. And what fun is there in that?
We've got plenty of time. And one of the second-tier, like Hunter, could emerge (though it's a long shot). Or Thompson might enter and change the race's dynamics entirely.
