We're in the bleeding/poisoning stage. Dealing with cancer is way down the list, though ultimately no less important... assuming you survive to get to the point where it matters.
I am far more concerned about the threat of immigration, legal and illegal, than militant Islamic fundamentalism to the long term future of our country.
