You guys slamming philly don’t get it. Philly is an incredible place to be right now. Housing has skyrocketed there, and continues to climb even as the rest of the country’s housing market has evened off.

For all of you who said only chestnut hill and manayunk are nice, what’s it like to get out of the burbs maybe once a decade? You obviously heard or saw something about Philly being run down about 20 years ago, and haven’t had access to any real-time information since.

It’s ponderous that you would even try to speak up about this!

Renovations in Philly are everywhere! Northern Liberties is a very happening place, and the beautification is spreading northward from there. University City in West Philly is gorgeous! The old mansions that fell into disrepair are being rehabbed and bought for millions. And it is all growing...

Evidence of possibility and life and renewal are all around the city!!

For those of you who still don’t get it... you can all get together at Sizzler or Outback or Bennigans, wherever you cultural wasteland types waddle off to on Friday nights, and reinforce each others’ beliefs in outdated complaints about a city that is actually a great place to be right now.
