You and me both. Though he may be delegating the dirty work to one of his lackeys in the DoD or Congress to keep his hands clean.

After the close call murtha had with being on the inside of a cell over ABSCAM I think he learned a lesson that most criminals eventually learn, don't leave evidence.

I would be greatly surprised if any paper trail or phone records exist that could tie him to any of this. I believe his only contacts are through trusted cronies and it would take one of them to rat him out. JMO
