I was under the impression that Obama was receiving personal threats, but this article makes it sound like that wasn’t the case.

The aim, no doubt, was to make it seem as if some “right wing” nutcase would like to harm Obama for his “uppittyness”.

Maybe it is best for security’s sake but it kind of gives of the impression that you just can’t trust whitey not to kill a brotha if he gets the chance. The fact that Sharpton and Jackson, who have more power than Obama ever will, still suck air should put this stereotypical, throwback notion to rest. But no. The civil rights struggle is still going on in the minds of Democrats and they need to make themselves appear relevant.
