How could President Bush have prevented Terri’s death and still act within his constitutional powers? He returned early to sign what Congress passed but as I recall it was that Horrible Judge, the revolting Lawyer and the big hole in the Florida State Law.

I was going to say something along those lines also....I believe W went the distance for Terri. What an evil episode that was - hope all those who championed her death rot!

My belief is that all he had to do was go down there to see Terri himself. What were they going to do, arrest him? Also, there is no big hole in the FL state law. THAT is the law - that pvs patients can be starved and dehydrated to death, even if they are nowhere near dying. And, guess who signed that into law- FL Statute 765? None other then JEB BUSH! Unbelievable, huh? State sanctioned murder! In these, our United States.
