Um, this is a terribly written article. I have no idea what these tapes say, but the article does not say what they say. They only say that a CIA operative guessed that LBJ had the most to benefit. If that was so, why did he not run in 68'?

You are correct, in that it is another piece to a puzzle that my never be solved. The 20 minute tape was interesting, if taken at face value. As more and more of the “players” die it will be interesting to see what else comes out.
