I repeat, banning all religious headdress (only in public places of course, schools, drivers license) would have an enormous effect on moderating ALL religions. Badly needed IMO

What about freedom of religion.

Why draw the line at headdresses. Why not ban cross necklaces. Jesus Saves t-shirts. That's not moderating religion, its stifling it.

I put the line at face coverings for public safety reasons, the rest is acceptable religious expression.

Tunisia bans the niqab, and is enjoying a boom in tourism because Europeans feel much more comfortable.

Extreme Muslim men throw acid in the face of uncovered women. When you have laws prohibiting the masks, the extremists must go elsewhere. Tunisia knows this. It should have been banned in Iraq from the get-go.
