The reaction, from what I can tell, has been mixed. I personally was quite disappointed with it. As soon as I heard the soundtrack in minor key, I had deep suspicion, so that probably colored how I viewed the whole thing. My mother described it as “Mostly factual, some spots not entirely friendly, some misconception.”

IMO, anything coming from PBS has, as a primary objective, the intent of damaging the Republicans. The Bill Moyers shows are a prime example. I think, also, this was to set the stage for the media attacks on Romney to come. There were clips and sound bites in it that will most likely show up in campaign ads for clinton, should Mitt be the nominee.

There are many mormons that would be quite upset should this happen.

I should have added that there are many conservative Christians who would be upset should these TV ads happen.
