So, in other words, you are saying nothing good comes from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints?

Girl, NOTHING comes from a congregation. The kindnesses of Mormon individuals is legendary ... but so is the behavior of Buddhists and Ba’hais, for these believers are dedicated to kind deeds to all and peace at all costs. Are these faiths equal to Mormonism because their works are equal to or greater than Mormons? You are focused upon works, not upon Grace. Try reading Abigail Adams’s posts above, with an eye to discerning the fundamental truth in them regarding organizational righteousness as opposed to individuals receiving His Grace.

They are really in a world of their own UG

They can not recognized true grace and too busy refusing to be able to acknowledge the Lord work.

“So, in other words, you are saying nothing good comes from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints?”

Please don’t put words in my mouth. What I have been saying all along is that :

1) the man-God doctrine is dangerous because it leads to unbounded conceit among those in power positions(a la Harry Reid, but not limited to him)
2) that which sets Mormons apart from Christians is the prophecy of Joseph Smith, who left a documented physical trail of occult, masonic rites, crystal gazing, bank fraud $3 bills, etc. that would have made Tammy Fae Baker blush even without makeup. Covering up such fraud is a destabilizing effect when Mormons are confronted with the evidence, especially under the stress of leadership.

Those two conditions make the presidency of Mitt Romney something I cannot support. As far as what you want to believe as a faith, that is up to you, and I have no doubt most Mormons lead exemplary lives, doing good where they can. But please don’t expect me to cover my eyes and pull a voting lever without giving thought to the moral basis of Romney’s decisions.

So, I hope you are a better person than I am in your day to day existence (not that hard to do), but please don’t try and minimize the doctrinal difference that divide us. I believe wholeheartedly and with proof that Joseph Smith was an utter fraud.

Would you vote for me for president, no matter how qualified I might be?
