I didn’t bother to read the anti-Mormon tracts distributed by the Baptists. But, I did note the local denomination’s stamp on the back.

Then how did you know it was "viscious"?

I am not blind, and I am literate.

It is impossible to miss the headlines and titles. They were vicious and hateful enough for a lifetime.

Rudy is the only one so far who hasn’t a chance in h*ll of getting my vote.

Me too, even though Romneys flip-flopping really bothers me.

Course I gotta tell you that is kinda the way Mormonism started. I have copies of documents where my ancestors who were some of the first Mormons lied and signed, swearing an oath to God ,stating that plural marriage, and other controversial practices was not being practiced in the church, even thought they knew full well it was. Because they were witnesses to, and in some cases practicing. This was very early on in Nauvoo.

They were lying because they were told to by leadership, and knew they would lose converts, and suffer persecution if the truth was known, kinda the same thing Romney does.

The church as an organization still do this when they deny the early teachings of the church.

I have witnessed this kind of no committal to conservative priniples among many, not all, but some (especially in high places) Mormon elected officials who I am personally aquainted with. They seems to want to be all things to all people to get elected, and I worry that they will easily flip flop on any issue dependng on what they view will be popular.

Course I see that in all religions, and it makes me sick.
