I do believe that Mormons make that confession.
and the Bible is the ONLY BOOK from the God of heaven and earth. No other book counts.
With or without Apocrypha?
If he does not believe that, I will not accept him.
Catholics accept the Apocrypha as well as tradition as being "from the God of heaven and earth". Are they pagans? Orthodox reject the inspiration of the book of Revelation. Are they pagans?
Mormonism is equal to Islam, Deitism, Masonicism, paganism, Rastfarianism and others.
Mormons are peculiarly patriotic to the United States. Mormons believe that the United States Constitution is a divinely inspired document. And, BTW, most of those who signed the Declaration of Independence and who founded this great country were Masons. As a former Mormon I do take strong issue with your claim that Mormonism is equal to Islam or Rostafarianism.Straight to the point.
Your bold assertions do not equal truth. Much of what you assert is simply untrue.
So, what makes you think you are a "Christian"?
Not exactly. Check your reference.
There is only ONE book and thats the Bible.
What does that have to do with being born again?
Jesus IS the Truth. And I accept/believe His truth. The Mormons have their own or another book along side the Bible. And I reject that 100%. The Bible is the only knowledge of God of heaven And earth. For me to accept Mormonism is like accepting Islam, Buddhism, Masonicism, Deitism, and Hinduism. A TRUE Christian man has confessed his sins, baptized, and follow CHRIST! Without baptism, there is no deposit. And you need that deposit when the end comes.
John 3:5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and of Spirit.”
John 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again.”
Mormons make that claim.
The Mormons have their own or another book along side the Bible. And I reject that 100%.
Do you reject the Apocrypha? Do you reject those who accept the Apocrypha?
The Bible is the only knowledge of God of heaven And earth.
Do you have a scripture for that assertion? Where in the Bible does it teach that? If that assertion is not to be found within the pages of the Bible, then your premise is false.
A TRUE Christian man has confessed his sins, baptized, and follow CHRIST!
I suspect that all good Mormons would make the claim that they have confessed their sins, been baptized and that they follow Christ.
Without baptism, there is no deposit. And you need that deposit when the end comes.
Did you get that idea from the Bible? Which Bible? With or without Apocrypha?
I have this funny feeling that you belong to a cult.
The Apocrypha is the Gnostic books. If that’s the case, I reject them. Gnostism has no place in the Knowledge of God.
No, I am rejecting your premise that the Episcopalian Eucharist can in any way prevent someone from falling into apostasy or converting to Mormonism. Why can't you admit that your premise is flawed and that the empirical evidence clearly suggests that taking the Eucharist by someone with "Apostolic Authority" is no antidote or vaccine against falling into greivous error.
Your premise is wrong. Try again.
Then you cannot vote for a Catholic either. Unless, of course, you are a hypocrite.
So Ron Paul is a catholic?? I didn’t know that. Thanks for helping me out. Then I’ll just stay away from voting or find find someone else.
aye yo, you a slick dude.....
You accept Mormonism and Gnosticism??
Acts 151. Some men came down from Judea to Antioch and were teaching the brothers: "Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved."...
19. "It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.
20. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood.
21. For Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath."
22. Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, two men who were leaders among the brothers.
23. With them they sent the following letter: The apostles and elders, your brothers, To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia: Greetings.
24. We have heard that some went out from us without our authorization and disturbed you, troubling your minds by what they said.
25. So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul--
26. men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27. Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to confirm by word of mouth what we are writing.
28. It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements:
29. You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things. Farewell.
30. The men were sent off and went down to Antioch, where they gathered the church together and delivered the letter.
31. The people read it and were glad for its encouraging message.
How can they miss the logic of your arguments? ;^)
And get confused by some of your words?
The guy's supporting Ron Paul. What does that tell you?
Saundra,
Margaret Mimms is an embarrassment. That was a worse endorsement than when you supported Mike Briggs. Cal Minor should be our Sheriff.
“Cal Minor should be our Sheriff.”
Howdy neighbor.
I will not vote for a man who believes that there are many gods in the universe, and that he, himself, can become god after he gets to heaven.
I suggest you read up on mormonism a little bit, it is a strange religion, and is NOT based on Christianity at all.
I agree Mormonism is a strange religion. It is, however, quite obviously based on Christianity, although it is equally obviously a rather extreme variant.
You are entirely welcome to refuse to vote for a candidate for religious reasons. Personally I think a candidate’s religion is one of the less important factors.
Well, as far as using the same names as Biblical characters, in that respect, it is similar
but it is NOT Christian, and someone who believes that he can become a god of his own planet, as far as I am concerned, that person is a fruitcake.
