That’s a good revision; ratified.
To me it's aples and oranges. I won't vote for Mitt because he's a Mormon either, I just think he's the most qualified. I wouldn't vote for Harry Reid in a heartbeat, and I would have had to REALLY hold my nose if Orin Hatch had been nomnated when he ran.
Mitt is my choice because of the kind of leader he is, not the kind of Church he prays in.
Speaking of which, I suspect that really bad times are coming. And once people see him address the nation a time or 2 in the National Cathedral, they won't think twice on his brand of faith.

“Speaking of which, I suspect that really bad times are coming.”
What do you mean?
Oh, and welcome to the present!
This may seem like double talk, but it's quite simple and quite just to a loving God. If someone is a good person, and knows not Christ (as there have been millions before and after Christ that fall into this realm) and because Christ ministers to the spirits in the prison world, if they are good, they will recognize him and know him. His sheep hear his voice, and follow him. The ordinances of baptism for the dead carry that message to fruition. We believe that now through the end of the millennium (1000 years past the 2nd coming), the work will be done for all mankind.
Hope this helps
Why was he banned?
It’s not showing a number reference that is specific enough to interpret on that page.
This will sound crass, and I appologize in advance, but since Bill Clinton already introduced Trojans to the WH, this should be the last of your worries. ;-0
{ducking}
I rather suspect they are as apprehensive about it as you are.
That was said tongue in cheek, I forgot to add the /sarc
goodness... I thought they were Macanudos
“I rather suspect they are as apprehensive about it as you are.”
Indeed, I know I am. Every little mistake he makes, every policy decision that doesn’t sit well, will be magnified against the Church. I know that liberal politicians often don’t behave in ways that make me impressed with their faith, for example the Kennedy’s and Harry Reid. Still, that is not a valid consideration in the world of politics.
What do you mean?
Oh, and welcome to the present!
Thanks, the present will be here at least for a few hours until I try to catch up again tomorrow. ;-)
I believe that we are in end times, and all that that entails. Whomever is in the presidency (of every country) will eventually face giant problems brought on by war, famine, flooding etc. We've certainly seen some of that during the Bush Presidency. John the Revelator certainly told us things for a reason.
That’s just the one we know of.
But than again according to FastCoyote LDS will always be know as a Trojan Horse
Its about time these things come to ahead so things can settle down and people can get on with living in harmony.
Oh there will be a few who will continue with their unGodly hate...
But we are living in a time it matters not what version of Christianity the Opposition will want to crush all believers!
Those with the light of Christ in them will comprehend this!
Matthew 13
53 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
Matthew 21
10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
Matthew 21
45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
Luke 13
33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
Luke 24
18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
John 6
13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
John 9
16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
18 But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
Acts 3
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
“I dont think the LDS Church would have been able to survive without such an environment, fostered by Luther. I think he was inspired and a key part of the preparation required for the restoration of the Gospel. The same could be said of any of the reformers.”
Except Luther never had the utter gall to try and claim he was godlike. He would have called Mormons cultist, as indeed does the Lutheran church.
So you agree that the Urimm and Thurimm I hold in my hand right not are able to see that Joseph Smith was a fraud?
“My point is, unless Mitt and Mormon Apologists make it clear that they will refrain from seeking to use his candidacy”
My personal experience with Mormons in positions of power is that they cannot resist inserting their doctrine into the political arena.
