"sending our troops to the other side of the world to kill civilians" ~~ According to your above post and choice of words, I would say you are more like code pinkos and moveon.org losers. Our troops are helping the citizens of Iraq and protecting them from the predators and murderers that are preying on them. You should be ashamed of your post, but the sad fact is you are not.

It was an unfortunate word choice on his part. However, the fact is that civilians do get killed as "collateral damage" of our operations in Iraq -- and then their spouses, fathers, brothers, sons, cousins, etc. tend to get pissed off about it. And then they hate America, and they join the insurgency.

It's not a good situation.

If you'll notice, that was a question. As a matter of fact, I was asking if the right to lives of children here in American were more important than sending troops to destroy lives overseas.

So true. And on that note...I just came across this video of a US attack in Falujah. I ask, HOW IN THE WORLD can the pilot distinguish this crowd of people as terrorists?? It looks like a group of civilians running from another area being bombed...

The time between when he notices the crowd and gets permission to bomb them is less than 5 seconds...I hope we aren't being this careless in Iraq. If so, the Jihadist recruitment will continue to skyrocket.
