How naive can a person possibly be about an SoS or foreign minister or diplomats in general. Remember the old saw about diplomacy being warfare by other means? It's still true. These folks, whether Saddam's mouthpiece or Bush's (or Xlinton's or Chirac's, etc.), are not in the business of truth.
