President Bush already compromised the GOP's principles, like his father. The GOP has been the Dem Party Lite for some time. You just say the above for dramatic effect. Why don't you stand up and accept NO compromise. The Republican candidate will surely have some flaw, some 5-15% of weak principles. Why stay in the GOP when there are other more principled parties? Heck, start your own party.
You must have a reading comprehension problem. I explained to you explictly why I oppose Ron Paul’s candidacy.
Ron Paul is not “the most conservative of the 10 Republican candidates.” He is a libertarian, in fact.
Study more.
“You are a nihilist dressed up as an idealist.”
Now, THAT’S funny.

I've noticed, as has Jim Robinson, from my reading of his posts, that one of the first tactics of the Giuliani supporters was to attack Reagan, or Bush, or whoever, in a bid to make the liberalism of their candidate look less egregious. Sorry to see Romney's supporters forced to adopt the same foolish tactics.
Heck, start your own party
No need, as yet. We've already got a party, with a pro-life, pro-family, pro-America platform. It's called the GOP.
You support no candidate. Therefore, you are effectively a nihilist in the eyes of everyone else.
I'll try a boilerplate EV response: 'What does pointing out the extreme liberalism of Republican presidents have to do with anything? It's not a tactic, its the truth if you can handle it.'
I know you've studied history, I would have thought you'd known better. Start with the founding fathers.
Try studying the history of Ron Paul.
Paul has more in common with what conservatives used to stand for than what conservatives now stand for.
I’d say he’s 100% correct on everything but foreign policy. He’s actually correct in principle on that too, but wrong in a pragmatic globalist world.
Goldwater...there’s a ‘conservative’ of old. ‘Social conservative’, ‘compassionate conservative’, ‘neoconservative’, these are relatively recent terms.
I don’t want to argue with you, but I’ll continue to prod until you tell us the candidate you’re supporting...so we can put your commentary in context.
Prod all you want. All I can do is tell you the facts. Your acceptance of them is not within my power.
